Came across lot of AI replies in threads

What's the point in allowing AI written articles and AI replies?

Why don't these type of articles are considered as post count inflation?

Using AI to write something is fine but generating AI content and posting them in forum and Simply posting AI replies in threads adds no value,

if everyone started posting AI generated replies on threads (which is allowed since there is no rules against AI Content)
what will happen next?

Kindly make a rule to limit AI Content since BHW have no such rules

We know it's irritating. We understand. However, as we've said over and over now:

1.) AI responses are allowed granted they are following the rules.
2.) Staff is constantly talking about this. I promise you that we're not just shoving you guys off, we are listening, and we're very aware.

As @SettingSun77 has said over and over and over AND over - PLEASE REPORT IT. Especially if it's a direct copy and past with no fact checking. You have plenty of space in the reports, explain why it's wrong.

I understand you are working hard to keep things right but it's annoying to see someone simply pasting the generated text as replies :weep:

I may have handled that report as I have seen some of their posts.

I think they are adding value, or at least the ones I have read, do.

There's nothing wrong with reporting something and being rejected, though. Obviously, reporting ALL AI posts isn't what we're looking for. But hopefully you now have an idea of what we're unlikely to delete.

We know this and we appreciate what you're saying on the subject, but also appreciate that AI content is a complex subject that we talk about on an almost daily basis. We get many reports about it daily so we're aware of the different ways in which it is being used and, indeed, misused. Member reports are key to us keeping up-to-date with what accounts using it are doing on BHW.
