First, ask yourself: Why do you want to increase DR? Did someone tell you that increasing DR will help your website rank higher on Google? If so, stay away from that person to save your time and money.

Mate there are multiple ways of increasing your site DR, You can use 301 Redirect backlinks as well if you want quick results, Or you can create backlinks from high DR websites that aslo works,

Ahrefs DR is an entirely link-based calculation: https://ahrefs.com/blog/domain-rating/
You need links from high DR domains to increase your DR. As others are saying, some redirect-type links also work, but stuff like Google redirects are filtered out by Ahrefs (unlike Moz). To find the redirects that work you can check on spammed guestbooks and see what people are using.
