ahrefs.com or SEOSPY GLASS ???

I used to use SEO Spyglass for creating reports; however, the 'lifetime' license expired after twelve months and I never heard back from their support.

Switched to ahrefs and find it much easier and definitely a great deal quicker.

In the best scenario, the more data the better i.e. BOTH, but if you had to pick one, I'd go with ahrefs since it has been giving the most results lately.

SEO Spy glass is pulling data from a number of sources (it's beyond me why they don't add api access for ahrefs and the similar ones but that's their business) and it's a great analyzing tool where ahrefs is just one source.

If you are on a budget, get SEO Spy glass first as it's a one time and will get you started. By the time you run out of sources (given that you are analyzing a broad niche) for links/outreach, you'll most likely be making money so you'll be able to plug aHrefs in that setup.

EDIT: If you are in fact looking into these tools/services for link outreach, I'd recommend you look into Link Assistant as well - M. Woodward has a video (or was it a tutorial) covering that and it's a nice start to keep things organized.

I used SEO Spy glass and i think it sucked, my opinion dont use it there are better ones

For me ahrefs is the best and i have seen backlinks being shown way before any other tool. The UI is simply the best.

Ahrefs is the best in the market. With the biggest backlink database and best crawlers Seo Spyglass is good but its not ahrefs :-)

Avoid Spy Glass like the plague. No clue why those guys are still in business. They WERE good like 5 years ago when there was no competition. There's a reason why Ahrefs and Majestic charge a monthly fee. There's work that goes into maintain a large database of links.

Check webmeup, its free....for now :)

That sounds better now :). I will take a look at link assistant as well. Since ahrefs ask for monthly payment, i am looking for something cheaper for now.
