but apparently when it comes to technical SEO features Semrush comes out on top....and Ahrefs are basically about selling their tools. As previously stated, budget probably pays a big part in which to go for..

I like both. Semrush because of the budget friendly pricing and ahrefs because of their up to date backlinks database and content explorer. ahrefs content explorer is a gold mine for finding low competition high volume keywords if you know how to us it.
