Ah crap

The filter eventually stops being a pain when you get your post count up there.:D

Just a little Frat Boy initiation Dude. Go with the flow. Fight it and it gets worse. Focus on the info and how valuable it is. Unless you're very experienced in IM all of your posts should be humble and non-confrontational for a good long while imo. ;)

I couldn't agree more and I am *definitely* humble in the presence of all the experts here. That said, no amount of knowledge that one person may hold that someone else does not gives them the right to be a jerk to anyone. Everyone has strengths, weaknesses, hopes, frustrations.... and we all need to respect each others as the equals we are in the end.

So, I have a deep respect for BHW and the people here, but I do not think that's reason to take abuse from people who aren't even giving me the respect of reading and understanding what I say before turning it into personal insults (like wtf???). (IMO, this is a problem on the net in general)

That's all. I wish a simple if frustrated call for assistance didn't make people jump down my throat. Thankfully several people didn't, and I thank you and those people again!

It IS a hazing, and it CAN get worse. Someone offers you friendly advice when they first meet you, and they are sorry immediately thereafter. What are the chances I'm going to put any effort into trying to be helpful again?

Hint: Pretty damn low.

Dude, the "help" you offered me was mis-informed, based on not reading my post all the way and illogical. I can't correct your missed points without you attacking me personally? Sorry, but I don't buy that. You need to be respectful of other people in general, whether or not they are new in this particular community.

Others watch this. Whether they agree with me or not, they see you, they see me, they think about you and where you & I have gone. What are the chances that any of them are going to help you either?

See any positives in this equation for yourself?

Look at the posts. Are we ALL wrong ? Are you the Messiah? Or just another drama queen that gets bored when the focus of attention isn't centered on you, you, you, (Marsha, Marsha, Marsha) and goes away when people wise-up and stop wasting time with you.

I'm afraid it was YOU that started with inappropriate responses and when confronted with that being pointed out, resorted to personal attacks. That's poor behavior. I'm fully ready to respect you and your contributions here and any expertise you may have that I seek. But I won't be beaten up because you can't act like an adult.

And in fact it ISN'T you "ALL". There were people who understood my points and responded helpfully and intelligently. That's what makes a good community. Thanks again to those people.

It's not that I don't have the patience, it's just that you haven't said anything worth paying attention to. This is a Black Hat forum, and I don't see any money to be made in reading any of your newbish drama. I've given you the only advice you need (which is post less, read more, be patient and when in doubt STFU), and I don't need anything from you.

If you didn't think the points I made in this thread were interesting, why read and why respond? Why respond with ill-thought-out points? Seriously, it's cool if you would just chill, but don't be a d**k, alright?

Seriously, it's cool if you would just chill, but don't be a d**k, alright?

You have this strange notion that people are going do things, and to change, just because you say so, Marsha. "The Reasonable man adapts himself to the world, Marsha." Just stop being so Marsha and all could go well. The Unreasonable man persists in attempting to adapt the world to himself." The problem is that all progress does NOT depend on the unreasonable man, because the unreasonable man is stupid, and is incapable of making progress. All his attempts at doing so result in failure, and deny the value of the efforts of the better men that have gone on before him. That's why we have contempt for the "unreasonable man". He's delusional, arrogant, and destructive. From the perspective of being ignorant and willfully unaware of the environment he is in, he presumes to advocate for some kind of "change", which includes changes by persons that know better than he. (This is where contempt comes in...)

Here's an example of someone that failed to appreciate where he was at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_McCandless

Read this about the consequences of someone else's arrogance, instead of responding with an expression of your own.

Also read this: This is an example of how delusional arrogance not only results in catstrophic consequences to the one so afflicted, but also those that are near him:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timothy_Treadwell

He had frequent run-ins by those that knew better, but his arrogance and his self-satisfied stupidity prevented him from learning. Eventually he became a meal for one of the Grizzlies he had so much affection for. The world is a better place without him. His girlfriend was also killed. That's why his personality type is dangerous and needs to be confronted directly. There are innocents that can fall under the thrall of a charasmatic retard.

Darn, I just came back here to reply, hopefully before you got here to make another dumb quip. Too bad I missed that opportunity (to deescalate?), but I'll still try:

I wanted to come back here and say a couple things:

1) to thank you - re-reading your first reply to me, I think you were in fact trying to be helpful for the most part. So I wanted to thank you for that (I said so in my response to you, but you said you didn't read it, so maybe you missed that)

2) to apologize - I was frustrated at the time and it was easy for me to latch on to the illogical parts of your response. Toward the middle/end of my reply to you, I tried to ratchet down the hostility, but again, I guess you didn't bother to read my reply so you may have missed the fact that I appreciated your trying to help despite not quite making sense. So I'm sorry if I escalated more than necessary.

I'm still not going to accept you being a d**k, though, especially if you can't take the time to read and understand what I wrote to you before just starting with some weak personal attacks. Grow up.

Too many words. Post less, read more, when in doubt STFU. No one cares what a newb thinks or says. Stop being so marcia. Read the links I posted. Don't expect respect you haven't earned, and don't expect to get back the respect you've lost just because you are running your mouth. I don't care about your apologies, your apologetic nature, your change of heart, your new perspective or anything else about you, you, you, Marsha, Marsha, Marsha.

HBO took down the YouTube Video, but I am Mayweather and you are Oritz running your mouth with an apology, getting smacked in the face, then looking to the ref for assistance and finally getting knocked out.

You don't make the rules. You don't have power. You don't tell people what to do. Nothing here changes to accomdate your desires. We see about 100 of you a week. Of those, I'd say 10 make it a week and 3 make it a month. Maybe. That's just my sense. You have an overinflated sense of worth, so I will not tell you why I am wasting my time with you. You need to hear the hard truths, as I believe you've been protected from them for so long you think they do not exist, at least for you. They do exist, and you aren't special. This could be your wake-up call. Or maybe not. Determined stupidity is a tough nut to crack.

Ah. Now back to looking at those pictures of you, Marsha. I particularly like the first one, with those just-budded breasts and those sexy cheerleader legs. Wonder if she shaved, back then?

I've seen many newbs with attitude but this is the first who likes to write.

Adsense material?

<childish rant>

Funny you wrote as long a post as I did complaining that mine was too long. The fact that you cannot engage me on the salient points says a lot about your maturity level and the fact that you can't really retort them. Maybe you are just 14 anyway. Talk to you in 10 years. I'm done here. l8rz

Dunno. Maybe. Are you willing to pay to have to deal with him?

Hell no, if this is his "first impressions of the BHW community as a newb", I can only imagine his post when he actually spend sometimes to look around and read.

Oh well, at least hes gone for 10 years
