After 8 months, I was demonetized

Possible, but out of 200 videos, I deleted 50.
I left a couple of videos that are compilations because they make great money. And I got monmetization again.
It seems to me that scale may be the problem. It is important that the vast majority of videos on the channel do not break the principle of content reuse.

I also have another guess. I made one of my videos in native language, and after some time I uploaded a slightly modified version in Spanish. Maybe not my licensed builds were the problem. Only one movie that was 99% coincident with another one of mine, the language differed.

Problem solved anyway. Monetization is back. And what I removed I will successively upload as modified.

So you just deleted some videos and problem solved?

Exactly.
The account earned money for 8 months. I decided something from the last period might be the problem. So I deleted videos from the last two months. And I added 3 new videos. It turned out to be enough.
Of course, the biggest mystery is which of these films was the problem.

You have to be careful these days because youtube bots are always working checking your channel for violations. Glad you solved the problem.

Same thing happened to me last month, my channel had 70 to 80% compilation video,. And my channel demonetized due to reused content.
Here I will explain.
What I did to get monetization back.
1. I changed channel logo and channel art
2. I made channel trailer, I hired spokesperson on Fiverr to speak about my channel.
3. I published 5 videos with human voice overs
Finally,
I made all compilation video private 2 days before reapply.
And reapplied, after 3 days monetization enabled.
I hope this may helpful to you and for other members too.

Thank you.

I've already solved the problem too. Only more drastically. I deleted some movies instead of hiding them. But I already have a plan on how to modify them, they will fly in as new and maybe even better stick to the algorithm.

A perfect example why i never pursued youtube montization as a method of making money.

I did have a monetized channel right around the time youtube changed the rules for monetization, and i know its an awsome feeling the money adding up passively from all your videos.

But in the end, they control you. They change a rule, they enforce a rule in a way they interpret it, you get demonetized or suspended and its over for you my friend. And you can never be sure about the future.

Id use youtube to promote offers/websites for real, never for adsense monetization. And if i was doing it for real real, then id use mant channels, otherwise with 1 channel if it gets suspended again you have nothing.

Good experience, Thanks

Insist more. Tell them you believe that your channel has been wrongly demonetized. Write things like this and they will have the team review it manually
I have been harassing the hell out of them but they just won't budge and I'm starting to think it's because I got a really small channel so they don't feel any pressure. Somebody recommended that I just wait 30 days and retry. Luckily I have found a niche that seems to be working I just gotta get the watch time up for that channel so I can get that one monetized.

how much did you earned then you was monetized?

how much did you earned then you was monetized?
before 45$ per day
after re-accepting to the YPP 55$ per day
the rates in my language are one of the lowest
