What is the best practice for new affiliate site?

- Do I create a site that only promotes one products from different brands?
--> I.e If my niche is clothing, my sub-niche is SHOES, do i just promote Nike shoes....Adidas shoes...Jordan shoes etc??

- OR do I create a site that promotes several different products and type of products in a niche
--> i.e If my niche is clothing should I promote Nike shirts, Adidas trousers, Jordan shoes etc?

Which one is a better model for the site?

IF you are newbie, go with first approach.

First approach is best

It depends on the budget and the time. If you are looking to involve in a long term project and having huge budget and time then second model is best otherwise go with first type.

I suggest the first approach is good.
