Hello guys, I'm at the end and don't know what to do next.
I have an affiliate site that has brought me around €6 to €15k per month over the last few years. Since November, income has almost completely disappeared.
I use 2 very well-known affiliate networks in Germany. Both always brought roughly the same commissions. I had 16,000 clicks on one of the networks in December and a conversion rate of just 0.04%. The industry average and also for me is always around 0.30% (including the last few years in December).
Unfortunately I can't explain at all what it is. I have already spoken to my personal contacts at both affiliate networks. Everything should run correctly with their tracking. I did a test sale, which was also registered.
- Sales always came from a wide range of URLs... including different keywords. So i think it is not because of lost ranking of special urls
- normaly i have different advertisers (11 providers)
- Traffic has decreased somewhat, but not to the same extent as sales have decreased.
- I use a redirect script in PHP to log user agents, referrers, etc. I had already integrated the links directly into the HTML as a test to rule out errors in the script.
- I also installed Clarity. The users actually click on the affiliate links (i.e. they are not bots).
What could be the problem? How can I narrow down the problem?
