So I currently run a twitter page with a patriotic/military appreciation/right wing theme. It has around 125k followers and has gradually picked up quite a lot of engagement (most likely because of the election). I know twitter isn't the best platform to promote products off of but I would also consider making a cheap blog/landing page and posting links to those. I'm trying to think of some affiliate programs that I could advertise to my audience. It's 85% male followers so I don't even think I would promote female products. The only market I can really think of that might have some success would be guns and other weapons, but do affiliate companies even sell them? I looked into promoting yeti coolers because they're extremely popular for no reason right now, but to advertise them you have to go through some 3rd party affiliate company and they turned down my twitter page which I kind of expected. I'm a complete noob and have never had much success with affiliate marketing but I feel stupid just sitting on this pile of potential buyers. I really want to start connecting with my audience and gain real followers who return because of what I'm offering.
