Affiliate Program to Monetize a 150k Music List?

I have a subscribers list with 150k users, most of them from the music industry.

1. Which one do you think will convert better, Amazon or eBay affiliate program?
2. How would you monetize it otherwise?
3. Based on your experience, what is the estimate revenue with a list like this?

1. I'd argue that Amazon converts better - especially as anything they buy will count as a commission for you, regardless of whether it's music or not.

2. Develop an out of the box approach to affiliate programs. Perhaps find where your fans are located and promote local concerts or, if they're aspiring artists, sell an eBook to them on how to succeed better. Sky's the limit.

3. Depends on how inventive you are - I was told once that a double opt-in email list of subscribers brings in $1/month/user - but that was a while ago, and in the bizopps vertical.

$1? Seriously? If I can get just 10% of that it would be awesome!

Regarding the users, probably 80% of them are teenagers (14-18 yo), I don't think many of them would buy a concert ticket unless their favorite artist is in town and it's not too expensive, but not sure.

Any other opinion?

Oh come on! Nobody else is selling through affiliate programs?

Do these people in the Music Industry use Soundcloud or publish Music Videos on YouTube?

You might be able to sell them YouTube Views or Soundcloud plays through my Affiliate program. It really depends on what you mean by "music industry"

There is music software - beat making software, singing lessons, piano lessons ect.

If I had a 150k list in the music industry I'd sign up for a few email lists from competitors and see what their doing..
Prob write a couple of emails to get them excited about the product I would promote then hit them with your aff link...

Gez if 2% converted into sales that's still pretty good coin if the commission is $20
