affiliate marketing strategy

Hi there internet people!
have a plan on making huge affiliate sales but I need some feedback on my plan before taking off since I lack experience.

General Idea:
Promote a clickbank product with a website that ranks 1# for a highly relevant keyword with 10k+ USA searches per month (by my understanding traffic from USA converts the best)


What I did:
I made a research on Clickbank products and I found a really good one to promote, also I researched keywords and I found a (really relevant, moderate competition, with 27k Global and 15k local (USA) searches per month) keyword to rank for.

What needed to be done:
I need to build wordpress website,choose a nice theme, order a promotional article that leads to the affiliate product, maybe order one fiverr testimonial video, onpage SEO.
then when the site is done ill do offpage SEO with the tired link building method that good ol' matt shared with us, hopefully the website can rank high in 1 mouth, if not then two months.


Will this be profitable?
By my understanding, yes.
lets say I'm #1 on google with 15k searches per month.
out of 15k, 45% of them visit my site, that's 6750 entries per month.
2% of 6750 convert that's 135 conversions per month.
lets say I earn 20$ per sale, then 20*135=2700$ per months, thats 2700/30 about 90$ per day.

Am I thinking right?
Is what I just wrote realistic? is it logical? that I will earn about 90$ more or less per day?
Please suggest me what to change, improve, do,-Just anything! it would be most appreciated!

That can a profitable model and im actually doing it myself with some keywords. However i dont think you will convert 2% of all visitors to customers.

The only flaw I can really see is ranking that keyword in 1 to 2 months. I am having a hell of a time ranking a 10k exact monthly searches term. Good luck OP.

how much do you earn from that model? what is your converting rate?

From what I learned, how many searches per month doesn't effect the difficulty of the keyword, the difficulty is determined from the top sites that are ranking for that keyword.

Yes, it will work but you will have to rank for that keyword first and not to forget your presales copy too. Make a good presales page and convert that traffic. Tiered link building will work surely but it will take some time. But do it regularly and you will see results
