Affiliate Marketing idea

Hi guys, i'm pretty sure that on this forum are lots of guys making tons of money with affiliate marketing, and i got an idea that i think should work if i put enough effort into it.
Here is what it is: I am a travel agent at this moment and i got a huge list of emails of people interested in flying business class. Now i was thinking that i can monetize this list with offering affiliate products.
I did my research and i found a great affiliate marketing program from Kayak, now this is a famous site and they offer up to 50% and also i can make money with cpa. I am new to this and i hope i'm not thast naive and that can really work.
Can someone advise me? If it is possible then i will start a journey here on BHW and will keep yall updated.

P.S: Before i start i think of inveting into a Email marketing course and get familiar with everything

It's a great idea and you have a gold list of laser targeted audience in your hands as your audience is interested in business class, other premium level items can be promoted to them. Be careful and don't spam your list. If your list is in premium level, it does not mean that they will buy everything recommended to them from you. Still the value of content is pretty important so you need to send them your affiliate offers through a beautiful packaged design in a form of very natural and useful content. (not a sale pitch).

Finally, setup your tracker before start sending offers to your list coz you need to analyze your marketing effort and performance. Also, joining more affiliate programs make sense because as it's mentioned it's better to go through different products rather than only one.

Yea, creating a journey thread on BHW will be very useful and other guys can help you more during your journey.

Would you recommend joining affiliate programs related to travel niche or other niches as well?

And yeah, i will create a journey here once i start.

I suggest you make special deals. You should not share your earnings with Network Companies.
 
Why not make own offer and promote that offer to the list? Why let other affiliate networks make profit from your efforts?
 
I think you have a very strong starting point with that email list.
Targeting business class travelers opens a lot of opportunities — not just travel affiliate offers like Kayak, but also premium credit cards, hotel loyalty programs, luxury services, etc.
I completely agree with the advice you received here: the key is to avoid spamming and focus on creating valuable content that naturally integrates the offers.

Hey everyone, can I ask — which e-commerce platforms offer affiliate programs where you still earn a commission if the user clicks your product link but ends up buying a different item, not necessarily the one you shared?
