Can someone promote his affiliate link through email marketing and how effective it is? I need an expert who has tried this to share me his/her experience.

You can only send through email if it's allowed. Every offer shows the ways you can promote it. You can only send it to people who opted in, buying a list of fiverr is useless.
If you got a list that you grown yourself it's very effective but it take a long time to build a good list.
Doing it myself
You can try to go the blackhat way but it will most likely be a waste of time and resources.

Well don't be a noob and bombard them directly with an offer, email marketing takes a certain skill and you need to build a certain trust before you can convince them to check out an order.

try to deliver some content to gain attention then you can push them to buy something. There is no 1 X 2 = 2 formula for this. You have to try again and again to found the best possible way for you.
