For a brand new e-commerce website which one is better option to choose ?
PPC. I personally find it hard to rank my one and only e-commerce site but it's fairly new to me, all my other sites are authority type sites.
i just can't get it ranking with SEO and it's been 3 months now but obvs.with PPC,I am earning straight away.
For immediate results PPC (but only if you know what you are doing or you have someone who can take care of your Adwords account).
PPC is the fastest way to get traffic, sales, and stats about your website (how well it converts). Also, with PPC (mainly Adwords), you can target way more keywords in short period of time and quickly find out which converts best
There is no "best". They are different traffic generating methods, each with pluses and minuses. They are also by no means the only ones. Use every one that you can, don't stick with just one or two methods.
I think that every channel you want to use in your online marketing campaign is good as long as it provides you the results you are aiming for.
In your case, for a fairy new website, I wouldn`t go for SEO with all my budget because the results tend to be a bit slower with SEO and you need to have the cash flow going to keep it up.
It's not a matter or either or - for a holistic effective strategy you should do both.
Utilize PPC to gain your initial traffic/traction while building up your SEO. Use the revenue gained from PPC to help your SEO efforts. After you start ranking the two will start working in tangent together. Your goal should always be page domination! You can't just do that with one tactic.
I would also go for PPC first. On the side increase SEO, so you have a steady income.
