Short intro:
I've been around on this forum for a while, mostly learning so far, but i've already started to take action. I've opened a webshop on a local market (non-english) and I want to rank it on "G" of course. My strategy is (among other things) to create contextual links from quality blogs, as that's what I found was one of the most recommended strategy nowadays.
I'm going to register an expired domain (to put a WP or something on it for my T1 blog, and get more domains to setup a private network), with quite good DA(21) PA(29) and domain page rank 4 (even with 150 backlinks). I think this would be perfect for this purpose. I have a few questions though, I would like to ask your opinion about:
- The domain is expired already (got expired a few days ago, but still), so I can freely register. I can still see it's page rank, DA PA etc.. everything. Would it keep those values after I register it? I mean, owner will change, host will change etc.. for this domain.
- Would it keep domain age or it will be taken as brand new?
- Should I try to pull the old content from archive in order to make it look like as it was, to make the big G preserve it's PR? or I can just start over a completely different site? What is your experience in this?
- Is it worth it at all? It's a small market, hard to find sites where I could put my articles on. That's why I'm thinking of building a small private network. Besides, I can easily find such domains here, probable because nobody is really doing this yet.
