I need to create a multi vendor marketplace for a certain niche ideally on WordPress to use as a proof of concept / MVP before we get something custom designed.

Does anyone know of an easy way to create a store that is multi vendor and similar to Deliveroo/Just-Eat in that a user would enter there location/postcode and a list of shops would display and then you can click the store and order.

I found a few wordpress themes but they didn't fit what I needed.

Do you think it's possible to use a WordPress listing/directory theme and something like woocommerce? If so the only concern I have is I need to make sure I display shops within a certain area to the customer. For example if they live in Westminster I need them to only see within a certain radius or just the Westminster area.

Features like opening times and picking delivery time and leaving a note about substitutes is what I need also in the checkout.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. This would be a lot simpler if we just needed a single store :/

Have you seen this? Seems pretty complete. It shouldn't be too difficult to find a plugin that will limit search results based on distance if that theme doesn't include it.

Awesome thank you! I found a few similar themes but nothing like this one.

There are a few features that they don't have on the demo that I'd like to add and change. Like delivery fee, delivery time and substitute notes on checkout.

I've used WordPress extensively but not WooCommerce. I'm guessing it should be pretty easy to integrate and make the changes I need with additional plugins?

The changes you require are fairly minimal. The nice thing about Woocommerce is that it is extremely customisable. Delivery Fee you should be able to easily integrate through WooCommerce settings. Delivery times could be achieved with a plugin. You should also be able to modify the existing note through WooCommerce settings to achieve what you want.

If all else fails, it shouldn't take a competent PHP developer long integrating whatever feature you need. Plenty of guys on this forum offer that sort of service.
