Take your time in choosing the niche. I think it is better for you as a beginner to narrow your range of topics this will help you in creating an effective content strategy.

Don't invest a lot of efforts in the first year of working. The first couple of years, just let the channel get initial authority. YT supress all new channels.

Try to post creative content, you can check other channels to see what they do and how they grow. But make sure that you make it your own way, there has to be something special that will make you different and preferable.

Ne creators are very impatient. They want earning in few days. With all types of online business, it takes time to make money.

As a new content creator on YT you can follow these basic but value adding tips:
1. Post high quality content
2. Post mix content don't keep your focus on one type of content,post shorts videos etc.
3. Use Vid IQ to find low competitive keywords
4. Add keyword you want to rank in thumbnail+title+tags and description. Note; Add keyword in description at least 3 times
