Advertising "secret sauce" should not be allowed

What he said above, furthermore - you can sell pretty much anything, it's the buyers stupidity if they buy something because of it's secret sauce.
 
So why are we allowing it?

Allowing it only makes this community weaker.

I agree with the sentiment against 'secret sauce' but I don't think anything can be done about it. If some action is taken, it'll also have to be applied to anything that qualifies as 'proprietary', 'trade secret' or anything on those lines.

Edit:

'Secret Sauce' is just a tastier term for 'proprietary'

If I start adding Secret Sauce to my art, I don't think people will like that.
 
You can sell shit if you package it right, you can also have a hard time giving away gold if you cover it in shit.
 
when i see a bst saying they have a secret sauce, i dont buy it.

you choose what you want to buy, if you decide to believe in the seller, that is your problem.
