Hi,

I'm looking for a place to host an adult oriented website but am coming across only a few. I assume that if MANY adult websites are hosted from one place that it *might* not be a good thing - my thought is that they might be hack targets.

Does anyone know of any problems like this?
Can you recommend some hosts?

You're correct, they can be targets for hackers.. A few of mine have been hit the last couple of months. That's the risk you take when you do BH stuff.

If you're looking for a solid VPS try Amerinoc.com

For seo stuff, try seo-host.com

Cheap dedi servers ServerPronto.com

I've also used 247-host.com.

edit: All of them accept adult content so long as it's legal.
 
I've had adult sites for 15 years. If you have a good host, hacking shouldn't be any more of a concern than it would be for any other website. Yes, adult servers may a little more likely to attract evil-doers, but a good host will have their boxes locked down to prevent problems (unless, of course, they're getting in through a script that you have on the box).
A reputable adult host like amerinoc, certified, webair, etc. should do you just fine. (There are even better ones, but they only offer dedicated servers so it doesn't sound like they'd be what you're looking for.)

They don't have the extra bells and whistles others are offering. But rock solid host with unbelievable support.

On another note, Hostgator allows legal adult sites.

Yep, cyberwurx is terrific too - I've had a virtual account with them (used for small projects) since 1999 :)

you could get a shared from hostinizer.com . It's around $1.50 per month. They allow warez , adult...
 
just get a hostgator, they accept adult.
Godaddy too. Namecheap too.

just not bluehost.
 
many hosts allow legal adult sites even if not specified in their terms of use. all you need to do is email them or ask their live support to find out.
 
pacifichost use code blizzard they have all the bells and its $6 a month lol you can run full tube scripts and its lightning fast.. ENJOY

Another vote for Cyberwurx from me. I've hosted with literally dozens of hosts over the years and Cyberwurx is one of the only places I've stayed with since I first signed up there 7+ years ago. Everyone I've encountered there from support to accounts has been top notch. They're big enough to be robust but still small enough that you can get things done and they are very flexible with custom plans and setups. justhost allows adult, i've always had good luck with them.. although i've heard of some complaints...i've never had a problem.
 
I'm using AmeriNOC for my adult websites. Reasonable prices, low downtime and top-notch support!
