Adsensing My way to $55 A Day...

Story: 4 Months to Kill, let's see if I can get from scratch to $55 per day using adsense...

Screw the back-story, right? Let's get down to numbers...

In the last month I've purchased 11 Domains each for a single KW. I guess it's called sniping. None of them are exact match domains, all dot coms. All 11 are Wordpress blogs with 1 or 2 Articles each. Targeting High CPC.

All money page site SEO has been White Hat. After one SEO session each KW's ranking are;

Site 1: # 2 (Added adsense 30 Days ago)
Site 2: # 6 (Added adsense 20 Days ago)
Site 3: # 15
Site 4: # 17
Site 5: # 21
Site 6: # 28
Site 7: # 86 (6 in YH) (Ranking of subpage, main page missing)
Site 8: # 94
Site 9: # 120 (Ranking of subpage, main page missing)
Site 10: # 131 (Ranking of subpage, main page missing)
Site 11: # 583 (Ranking of subpage, main page missing)

I'm going to wait till the pages are on the front page before monetizing.

The SEO method seems to work for the most part, so I'm looking to create mini-authority sites and optimising subpages for different keywords.

Month to day stats: 2,694 Views, 141 Clicks, $144.02

Feel free to give advise or ask questions, I'm a SEO noob so keep that in mind.

not bad ..you have already earned a bit :) keep going and you will probably rank them all , you seem to have figured out the seo part and that is the key ..50 a day isnt far away
 
Did you use any software for backlinking or any other ways to promote your website to such high rankings?

How long are your blogs already online?

Time Saving Aids I'm Currently Using;

  • "Last Pass" a free firefox plugin helps speed up the process by auto logging in.
  • Article Marketing Robot
  • Linklicious
  • The Best Spinner

I'm using TBS to create Spun Articles then I have been submitting them manually to 30 or so Web 2.0 properties. The properties are in the form of an open linkwheel with one link to the money site then two or 3 links to other web 2.0.

Then I hit the Web 2.0 with the same spun article run through AMR.

Finally I collect up all the livelinks and submit them to linklicious.

Total time usually takes;

Creating Spun Article: 1 - 2 Hours
Submitting to Web 2.0: 1 hour 30 mins
AMR Run: 35 Mins

I'm going to repeat this same process and see the effect on the rankings. I imagine it would be slightly less effective as they're links from the same domains, but not sure how much less.

N.B. I've just started using Bookmarkwiz but it has become quite time consuming bookmarking one link at a time.

Oldest blog is 1 month old, youngest is 10 Days old. I imagine that's why some of the front pages went missing.
 
Looks like a solid technique, I guess you have 4 months because of Uni holidays? I am looking to do the same when mine start in a few weeks.

Whats the {exact} search terms per month for your KW? A cpc of over $1 is nice :)

Haha, yeah, I'm starting an MSc late September.

They Range Between 4,400 per month and 9,900 exact searches per month. With the exception of a couple at 33k and 60k uniques. They all average over $2 cpc.
 
Nice man, i ramped a new one up to G's first page in a few weeks and it's averaging $30 a day on it's own and i'm working the 2nd one now.

you'll reach your goal, maybe within 4 months.
This is also exactly how I'll do it, after summer going
to university and I'm hoping to reach ?25 per day by august
so I don't have to work (still live with my parents).
My first problem is to actualy build a site. How did you do that?
Did you edit that wordpress themes? Were they free themes or paid custom?
If free: could you give me the names of the themes that worked out for you? That'd be very helpfull!

Initially I used a plain two column wordpress theme then used the plugin "Advertising Management" to add the adsense code. The CTR was around 8% but it looked very spammy (3 blocks of code before content). So I purchased "CTRTheme" and which made the sites look much less spammy but the CTR has dropped to around 4%. The less spammy version just feels like the right thing to do.

The domains are not exact matches. Most are "bestKW" or "eKW" or "KWreview"

lol, $55*365 = $20,000 p/a. Seems like a nice sum.

Obvously if I get to the $55 there's little chance I'll stop doing what I'm doing. If anything I'll crank it up.

With the basket, he means adsense. If youre adsense is banned, youre income is gone. Thats the basket he is talking about. But i dont think it would be a problem for you because you can just slap another advertising network on the site's, and you will be earning good aswell. Keep it up!

Ah right, thanks for clearing that up.

Sorry for getting the wrong end of the stick OP

I'm in the process of setting up another adsense account so it should be a little more risk diverse.
 
Out of interest how does google know certain sites are related?

Is it the registration information, same IP, same web hosting or just the same Analytics/Adsense accounts?
 
Maybe he is saying that if all 11 domains are hosted by the same IP then g will know theyre connected? But if you're writing unique articles I don't know what the problem is.
