Adsense very low earning

My ads irregular showing. My website values are :

Visitor : 1K User
Organic hit: 91.5%
Page View: 3.5K
Impressions : 4.19K(Usually a blank areas appears)
Click: 9
Earning: $1 - $2
Google adsense join time: 22 September 2019
Website Language : English
Visitors' countries : Mostly USA, Japan and EU
Average time of visitors: 1 minutes 58 second

There are competing sites that have half of my values and have 10 times more ad clicks than I do. What exactly does Google want from me? Is it wants me to build rockets in my little garage? They said it was because I was new to Adsense, but that sounds ridiculous. I would love to hear your suggestions.

I think the niche plays an important role in earning.

Maybe the design of the website or maybe relevant ada are not showing. Maybe you should be a littke bit more patient as they say.

Its depending on your keyword CPC. how you use keywords ?

Your clicks are low for that amount of traffic. you need to set up your ad placement properly. Use Auto ads. Also activate anchor ads.

I have found recently that using auto ads on mobile as well as the interstitials Google was placing on mobiles meant I was getting a click through of about 2% and a cpc of about $0.35 for each click on AdSense. This was much better than the USA or UK on my English language site. The CPC for Japan was comparable to the USA but the CTR was much higher. When it came to desktop traffic their was no difference between the USA/UK/Japan.

Meant to say that the CPC of about $0.35 and CTR I mentioned was for Japan. The CPC was similar to the USA but the CTR for japan was about 5x that for the USA. This is for mobile traffic with Google auto ads
