Adsense Problem: Two Ads Showing In One Unit?

Hey guys, newbie here.. Im trying to get a banner adsense unit on my website (mobile version) but every time I try something it just displays two seperate ads.. what could be causing this? I checked the code multiple times, I used both responsive and fixed size but it still happens.. any ideas?

It looks like you placed two ad codes and you got two ads displayed as the result.

Thank you, but it turned out that the theme Im using have two "before post" sections, therefore it duplicates the ad in that placement.. I just changed it for now until I fix it I guess.
