Hi,
So, I came across something, which may or may not be a big deal. While writing an article for my website, I decided that I need to add an internal link to a particular part. Nothing unusual until now. But, here comes the thing. Idk how you guys do it, but when I want the link from an article from my own website, I usually go to the website and just search for that article. Then, I copy the link, go back to the article i want to add that link to and do it. I don t go from Dashboard to the Articles section and search it there.
And a few moments ago, I saw that a muted video ad from AdSense (yup, I got AdSense on the website) started. And I was wondering: if we are on our own website, seeing how it looks or doing what I did and some muted video ads like this appear and start on their own, does this count as an invalid click or something? I am refering to those invalid click/involuntary clicks which some people do on their websites, which may get them banned from AdSense.
I mean...the ad already started on its own, while I was looking at my article, so I guess the advertisers got their money taken for the roll. Or does the ad become eligible only if I click on it and it redirects me to something?
Thank you,
Raneni
