    Look at the AdSense ad after the article > http://www.ehow.com/how_2075714_invest-danish-stock-market.html (this is not my site, nor my competition, just interest in topic). I bet they have great CTR with that type of "cloaking" google ad but is it allowed? That type of modification Adsense code isn't against google TOS? Because if not I want to use something like that on my own site, it's look like part of site and i bet that gives great revenue

    code:
    Code:
    <div id="DMINSTR" type="adimpression" data-type="adTracking" name="&adunit_id=ca-ehow_336x280&ad_unit_type=CNT&ad_unit_network=GAP&revenue_basis=CPC&ad_position=-&revenue_tag=fin_investing" data-module="google-ad-336x280">
    <div id="GoogleAdsense336x280" class="mod"></div>
    <script>
            dmjs.revenueTags.push('ca-ehow_336x280;fin_investing,text,suggested5');
            googleAds.addAdUnit({
                priority : 2,
                adUnitId : 'GoogleAdsense336x280',

    I don't think that they have more rights than other players.. I know few owners of biggest sites in my country and they all have problem with Adsense, so you don't have special rights just because you are bigger player. It's not that.

    Is anyone know some other method to "cloak" your AdSense like that in example?

    The big boys don't play by the same rules as you and me.

    They do whatever the hell they like because they bring in big bucks for google.

    you're maybe right but is there any "legal" (-not against TOS) option to hide your AdSense ads like that?

    I agree with others and believe this to be absolutely a standard practice for major players who request an exception to the rule. In order to be considered for this sort of thing one needs to have a much more solid relationship with G.

    These guys have been bringing in huge revenue for G for years, and you can bet they were in constant contact with account representatives, and that they absolutely DON'T cloak their traffic in any way. They do not need to. I'm sure the account executive was one of the first folks in the room to say to ehow - "hey, why don't we just give you this exception?"

    I don't think this is something you should invest much more time in researching as these exceptions are probably not going to be forthcoming for new players moving forward, i.e. if you didn't get the exception previously - you'd need a sick amount of traffic to make it worth G's time, and you're probably not building anything on the scale or scope of eHow. Move on to something that can work for you in my opinion.

    eHow is a premium publisher. They can have more ads on site with different layouts plus many more features.

    Cheers

    Yes, basically they are doubleclick publishers, there you are permitted to be more flexible with the ads, ad styles and other things that you want to manipulate.

    thank you guys for interest in this topic, it's definitely doubleclick ads, but as far as I understand you need to be a bigger player to join doubleclick.. so the final solution is to just become bigger ;)
