AdSense Auto ads Update

AdSense is making some updated that can help those users who just starting their traffic arbitrage journey and for those who didn't grow big enough yet to switch to multiple ad network setup.

This update will help you to worry less about what ad size and format to place and where to place it.
It might not be the best solution if you're doing a lot of tracking by the unit, but it will work fine if you don't.

The preview of auto-ads on my site only added a top anchor unit for mobile and 970x250 in the footer.

We’ve developed a new version of Auto ads that gives you greater ability to customize the Auto ads experience for your users.

Depending on how you use Auto ads, we'll try to closely match your current Auto ads settings. If we can’t do this, you'll see a notification in your AdSense home page. If there’s no notification, you don’t need to take any action.

This doesn't apply to the setup I use. Large publishers do not use AdSense only and run ads via more sophisticated setups (header bidding/prebid) that don't need auto-ads. This solution is for smaller or brand new publishers that rely on AdSense as a single network - I believe it could add a few extra bucks. If you're more advanced you don't really need that.
 
adsense only is NOT the right solution for full time income... People need to understand...look at any popular website and see their ads.txt file it shows an extensive programmatic stack....

adsense only is just a newbie stepping stone...

That’s 100% right.
While AdSense could be a good solution for starters it’s not for a long run. Even if you have only organic traffic it doesn’t make sense to sell it a default (lowest) rate.

Right... I think a lot of people on here is under a fairytale myth that Google Adsense is king. In reality google also has ADX lol and it’s the most furthest from the truth and people are simply misinformed. CTR is not high enough consistency for people like us to rely on that for revenue.

We both are trying to help you guys lol

There are many misconceptions about AdSense until you try something else.
CTR meaning someone makes a click and leaves your site. While clicks are great and bring revenue, the main purpose is to have quality content that would attract visitors to return. Returning visitors can bring much more revenue than a single paid click.
 
Nowaday, adsense is not the only way to monetize your site, but it's quite good for newbie with low traffic

Exactly...Returned and Engaged Users are the most profitable when you are in the right cpm programmatic ad stack.

To the rest of you yes...google adsense approves smaller sites but it is a dangerous road you are on and is not suitable in reality for full time web income.
 
I am using it for past few months I think. It saves time and hassle.

Still pretty hard to get approved, users apply and get approved by other networks/exchanges to get demand from Google.
The funny thing - it's easier, better, and less risky to get Google/AdSense demand through such ad network/exchange then from Google itself.
I do not see much get risky with AdSense anymore, even for a newbie.

works the same way as AdSense, and it's easier to get approved than with AdSense. I could it's popularity to fade out in the future.

Used Liqwid technology before with the other networks, before AdSense, introduced auto ads.
These days I still prefer to take control of where my ads appeared. The site divided into different sets of pages where each set has own ad placements. This means that if the article is longer or shorter the script will automatically adjust where and ads appear, based on pre-defined parameters. In other words, I don't need to fill blanks as all space is already programmed to maximize ad revenue.
 
huh i never see anything news , last year year end they does have a webimar on it , I does always us auto ad

That is also correct. I used adx and Adsense through my premium ad network pretty simple and easy process. But Adsense directly is clearly causing a lot new people problems even though the problems is self inflicted with bot traffic and or fraud clicks
