I've been trying to learn adobe after effects for making videos. I was wondering if anyone had any sources for things like call outs and intros. If you know where I can get some FREE ones I'd appreciate it.

Video Blocks has a 7-day trial where you can download anything that you want. I know there are AE templates there.

Search Heroturko on Google.. that website has lots free stuff

there are a lot of warez sites like bestgfx sharegfx where you can dowload AE templates from, google is your friend

You have 2 really great choices!

You can join VideoBlocks for $99.00 per year and have access to some really hot AE templates. Currently, they have close to 500 templates.

Secondly, you can join VideoHive

I learned almost everything I know from adobe tv. it's free and often comes with footage, etc. if you need more stuff, let me know after you spend a couple days on that.

Yes, video blocks has a lot of intro effects templates that you can easily edit using Adobe After Effects. I have an FB group where you can subscribe for as low as $1 where you can access and download unlimited intro effects templates plus a video tutorial on how to edit the templates.
