I don't really know how to start this! But these past 2 months, I have been focusing on SEO like most of the people here do.

This month has literally been a life changer. Basically going from broke af to not that broke anymore. But I have been doing $xxx per day and on my way to $xxxx per day. And it's all profit (which is kinda unbelievable but nice 2)

I used to do what I'm doing right now with Facebook ads and that didn't work out (I was investing more than what I was making) So this is the first time seeing a spark in earnings just from SEO so it is kinda exciting to be honest when you're still kinda new in something.

However, it's been really hard for me to focus. Imagine waking up everyday and you already made $xxx. You start to get use to it (which sucks) and when you have ADHD like I do, it's hard to sit still and focus.

When there's so much work to do, it's hard to get one thing done. I try having coffee (to try to focus) but it makes me more hyper.

It's VERY hard to sit down at a desk and stare a screen for hours and trying to get all of your work done.

What would you do in this case? I'm still trying to everything done but it's a slow process due to my ADHD and my focus.

Congratulations to your achievement. Feels good, doesn't it? :)

In regards to ADHD, isn't t here a medication for that? Like Aderal or Ritalin or that kind of stuff? Definitely do not drink coffee or energy drinks. Possibly, try to sleep less. One thing that could help would be to go for a run in the morning. That should reduce your energy levels. Workout or a run should definitely help.

You should take a morning cold shower, It will clear your brain fog and you'll be more focused

Wake up early around 6 AM, try to do some exercise in the morning, before starting your day. Do some meditation, then take a healthy breakfast, and you should be able to do it.

This has worked with me, especially with my depression. The only thing that I need to add to my morning routine, is meditation.

But basically I'm feeling much better right now and I don't need any medication.

Hey man, I find it hard to focus too, and procrastination eats me. lol. Can't even start a dollar so you are doing fine.

Some things that I did to actually start doing things is to use a task checklist app, basically list everything that you need/want to do and once you start checking boxes you cant stop wont stop

Another interesting app i found is Brain.fm, you listen to some sounds/ music and it helps you focus. I'm not sure if it works myself, but go try it out they have free trial.

Last thing is to have an accountability partner, someone who checks on you if you've done your tasks (maybe set penalties like you donate $100 to charity if you didn't do it lol). If you think teaching someone the things to do would help you, would love to be an apprentice :D

Use the accountability trick. Publicly commit on what you are going to be doing every day/week and get ridiculed when you fail.

If ridicule does't really make you move, go hardcore and pay someone who's buff and scary to come to your house every day and check your progress with the penalty of slapping you around when you're not performing :D

Hi. I have ADHD too. And my tip is to forget about it. If you managed to make xxx$/day its probably not so bad and you need to stop thinking about it. Just like axekicker said - almost everybody has a hard time staying still and focusing at work. Forget about it and don't blame ADHD cause it will not help. Also I highly recommend you not to use Aderall/Ritalin/Vyvanse or other drugs, because in the long run it would make your life only worse!
Very clear TO-DO lists helps a lot. "Strict workflow" chrome extension also helps for me. Exercise helps as well of course.. Might sound strange but for super focus I like earplugs + headphones with acoustic music. Forget about it mate.

:D

OP: I have ADHD and like caffeine (only in the morning) to combat the focus, however if I have it later than lunchtime I'll be up till 8am the next day. The hyper is easily regulated with weed, not sure where you live and if it's legal/illegal but give it a try if you can.

Caffeine + Marijuana = My medicine. Works well for me.

Edit: I start several projects since I get easily distracted/bored/whatever, but it's good since I just jump between my projects, so in the end I actually get some work done.

Edit again:

So, don't take caffeine, but Amphetamine is good? :D

I deal with it myself. You have to exercise your concentration. Get a $50 used walking treadmill; jump right out the bed onto the treadmill for 20 minutes. During that 20 minutes rehearse your productive day over and over; even go through possible setbacks and work around them.

Meditation works wonders. It may be difficult when you first start, but you can use an app like Aware or Headspace to guide you - once you have it down you can turn to it for ~15-30 minutes whenever you feel your productivity/focus waning.

I don't like to encourage marijuana; because most people abuse it; like with prescription drugs. But, it could help:cool: if used right. Swim use to smoke just half a bowl a day; it was the right amount enough to get him motivated. At the same time, he wasn't stoned and nobody could even tell he smoked. An Ounce would last him a year.

Yeah, I don't smoke to get "high asf dude", just enough to make me relax. I'm constantly stressed and tense for no reason which is extremely annoying, as well as insomnia. I take small doses, but more frequently instead of huge bong hits that make you look like this:

I don't think that dude would get much work done. :D

An ounce would last me about 4 weeks, but trying to make it last 8 weeks now. Oh well, we're going a bit off topic now.

Other tip: Take short breaks more frequently, like 5 min every hour or so.

Cold showers + meditation
That cold shower shi# is hell and addictive. First time I did it my feminine side I didn't know I had left my body. I broke down to my knees like a baby! But the after effects:D

I am a firm believer that you need to develop two skills. You need to learn to do what needs to be done, no matter what, and you need to learn to turn weaknesses into strengths by leveraging them. When your vision and drive and passion is big enough you will be able to focus better. Also, if your earning money you could start using some of it to hire people to do some of the tedious work that really bores you. Your focus is to create a team and network of people who can help you reach your goals while you focus on growing your dream and vision. Hire writers and link builders while you focus on optimizing the next niche or next area of growth for your current site and business.

Don't take medication bro I dodged that bullet few years ago and it just went away at some point. Of course it depends on the person but I heard that adhd medication fucks up your brain pretty good and that adhd isn't even a disorder but rather mis-channeled energy.
Be safe bro

Yeah I refuse to take that crap, I had no idea it was Amphetamine until a few years ago. Had a friend whom now have extreme ticks from the medicine, and another than that is addicted to whatever pills he can get. Mostly Benzo.

Well spoken sir, my (black) hat off to you.
