I have ADHD as well, so I know how difficult it can be to sit down and work for a long period of time. If I don't go into hyperfocus, then the chances are that I won't sit still for more than half an hour.
There's no real solution to force yourself to focus if you have ADHD. The only thing that could help in this regard is ADHD medication - this doesn't work for everyone, but I find that it's helpful for me.
If medication isn't an option for you, then you've got to look at ways to manage how you work. You can't sit still and focus for hours on end, so there's no point trying. But what you can do is find a way to organise your workload so that you are working around your weaknesses instead of trying to ignore them.

- You can try dividing your work into bullet points and ticking them off as you finish each task.
- You can schedule a break every now and then to give your brain time to rest, so that it can focus more easily.
- This can be combined with the point above really well, where every time you finish a task, you can take a break to reward yourself.
- If you find yourself stuck on one particular task, don't beat yourself up about trying to finish it. Just leave it and do the other tasks that you've got to do. Hopefully, you'll be able to come back to it later and have a better idea of what to do.
- When there's one piece of work that you really need to do but can't figure out, talking through it with someone else can be helpful. Obviously, you won't always have someone readily available to infodump on, but if the option is there for you then I'd say it's worth a shot.
