I think quite alot of people on BHW would have already seen/read/tried this method of getting ****** clicks - This is for those of you who have not.

Viral video's always get lots of attention, almost 50% of people who watch those video's click the "READ MORE AT" button.
Which is where ****** comes in!

Step 1
- Get a program to download videos off websites such as ?Download Helper?.
You should also get a Free Screen Recorder, such as zdsoft. Also, register for an account on YouTube, Digg, StumbleUpon and i-am-bored.

Step 2 - Start lurking around on Breaking news websites, such as CNN , foxnews and cbsnews .
You have to be very patient and wait around, until you find a good video with viral potential.

Examples of videos that are guaranteed to go viral-
Ghost Videos (Michael Jackson?s ghost)
Live TV stuff-ups (People swearing live on air, Celebrities
hitting paparazzi, ?Wardrobe malfunctions? )

So just wait around until a video like this pops up on one of the news websites.
It may take a while to find a good lead, you may have to wait several days.
Bookmark or even subscribe through an RSS system to the ?Breaking News? sites and check back occasionally.

Step 3 - Got your video? Now it is time to act FAST, REALLY FAST! Try downloading the video using ?Download Helper?.
If it doesn?t work, what you have to do is record the video with your screen recorder - unmute youtube!.
Now upload the video onto YouTube. Make sure you have a good title, description and set of relevant tags.

Step 4 - Submit your video to Digg, StumbleUpon and i-am-bored. Then wait a few hours.
Once your video starts getting into the high numbers and past the "301+ Views" on youtube you could use a social gain website like AddMeFast or YouLikeHits to generate more Likes making the video more appealing to those who are not aware of such sites to "gain" likes, views, etc.

Step 5 - Now, check back on your video. If everything is working well as planned, you should have a few thousand views.
If not, try and submit to more websites similar to i-am-bored

Step 6 - You should be getting thousands and thousands of hits by now.
Links to your video should already be posted on Digg, StumbleUpon, and i-am-bored.
You should be getting a steady flow of a few hundred views a minute now.

Step 7 - Find out what it is you want to link to. Maybe an article relating to what's in your video!

Step 8 - Create an ****** link and mask it. Masking the URL is VERY important.

Step 9 - Now, create an annotation all through the video on youtube. An example of an annotation would be -
Is Michael Jackson really dead? See the shocking new proof at the link in the description!!!! .
If only 50% of video viewers click the link, you should still be happy!

Step 10 - As with all viral videos, your one will only be popular for a few days.
When all the hype dies down, and you are not getting enough money from ****** , it is time to monetize it with a blog/site!

very nice guide on how to ride viral traffic.

will def. test in the future.

you need to expand this by adding Adsense on the video if it does not contain any kind of copyrighted music. Another thing you can do is put a mylikes link in the description to spice it up even more. Although I'm sure ****** link last much longer than the mylikes links but mylikes pays more eventhough they shave the clicks.

That would work too, great advice Driezzie, Thanks!

This is actually a good technique, works in some cases. It's important not to use copyrighted content, like music videos, movie trailers and stuff like that because YouTube will remove it really fast.

Other good alternative is to upload a photo gallery of some celebrity, for example Justin Bieber and then add some music as background, can be a cover (you can find it on Soundcloud) and add a title like "You not going to believe what Justin Bieber just did!", it will get a lot of organic views.

Is it a good idea to upload new songs onto youtube and adfly the download link?

will try this out, but i've heard that adfly is not good anymore, is that true ?

The adfly payout per click is SOOOO low that it just doesn't seem worth it to put all that effort into sending traffic to it.

Ok so I tried it with Mylikes links but I get the impression they do not count Youtube traffic when using their "weblinks" ?
