That has been the rule for ages.
Either take it and appreciate the ROI for such a small amount of money or decide to move on.
Me, I'd pay it, and have done so back in the day when I was a seller here as the ROI is crazy good.

...that's how you respond when clients complain about price. If all freelancers and small agencies did this when clients complain, instead of doing free bonus work, the market would look very different.
