Added CC to Upwork and got KYC verification request

Accounts aged 2 years. never had any problem. spent over $95,000.

I can't communicate with project workers until I submit a KYC.

This is super-aggressive KYC asking you to make a selfie with your ID.

There's the reason you most likely got KYC-ed.

They legally have to do that. It's basic AML legislation that they have to enforce.

Not sure if they are the ones to blame cause some platforms has heavy pressure from regulators.

Reminds me of the time when I made a report here, on BHW, of a guy who made a thread in Spanish trying to get someone to JV on organ trafficking.

Should have went to UpWork instead.

They don't have say in that matter. Don't blame them.

As they are a platform that transacts real money, they have to enforce AML legislations if they want to keep their business alive.

Yes, the Same happened with my account; they just suspended my account and are now asking for KYC; by the way, my account was old, but I didn't spend anything. I have filled out the KYC form and hope they will unblock my account. Don't know why they are banning the accounts :\
