Can you block ads on TV??? NOOO!!! There is too much money involved and if 5% becomes 10%, Google and other big companies, even the goverments will react... And beside that, I agree with the statement above, only people who doesn't want to see ads put AD Block and those people probably wont click on your ad anyway....

Won't matter, adblock will simply add more codes to crack that too.
We can just do 1 thing, and that's increasing our websites traffic to 10%, 20% ...50%.

You got a snort out of me rather than a full on laugh. I have yet to have seen the browser that can block 0.0.0.0 site.tld in the host file.

Just use text ads. Or make a banner that directs to your money site. That's what I do on a site that I work on in my leisure time. Why make money for google and other advertisers when you can direct people to your own site instead?

You just hear only onse side of coin there is another side which is acceptableads.org an intiative by adblockplus.org.Which displays ads which are not intrusive.So i though google-adsense may be acceptable.
