I have a general idea of how much direct ad revenue you can get from Youtube, because a few creators have shown their numbers using Socialblade, but what about Wordpress?

How many views equal $1 earned on average? I see that I have the option to do Automatic Ads on Wordpress, is that my only option? I just went to the 'Earn' section on WP

If you talking about display/banner/video ads on WP vs AdSense on Youtube - WP ads can bring much more (if you have a decent site and know what you're doing). With YouTube you're limited to Google Ads, while on WP you can run any advertiser, multiple advertisers, and even make advertisers compete for each bid.

If the users u are sending are engaging u can make a lot of money using wordpress and for YouTube it depend on the niche some niches have higher cpm than others.I will suggest u to try both YouTube and WordPress.

It's not a matter of this many page views = this much revenue, it is entirely dependent on the content you are writing about on Wordpress and the types of keywords you are using most often.

To give you an example, a wordpress blog about insurance policies that posts articles on where to find the best rates would make WAY more ad revenue than a blog that posts viral memes and videos.

I suggest you to go with a website for Adsense. YouTube is not a good way to get Adsense revenue.

Youtube is limited but WP run multiple Advertiser
