Account got suspended

Yes, go ahead and try it — it’s the only possible way to help get your account restored.

It’s possible the account was accessed from multiple devices, and one of those logins triggered a security check. Video verification can sometimes be difficult and doesn’t always succeed. In this situation, it’s best to follow Meta’s official verification or recovery process and keep account access consistent to reduce further issues.

No reason given? That's very weird.
But yes, try that. However getting banned without any reason is not a good sign.
yes man, just showed up that your account has been suspended.
Verify the video and your account will be back online. Facebook does this to verify you are a real user, so don't worry.
but why? that account is not new it has been using for long time for genral use nothing like for business or marketing just regular use.

Change the birth year to 2020 and record a video; it will work.
what do you mean buddy? i think facebook requires 18+ age to use. if i do this maybe i get ban.

Don't worry, just follow the Meta verification steps, it will take 3-5 hours for Meta to reopen your Facebook profile.

My facebook account got suspended recently without any warning notification or reasoning. there is option for apeal and they are asking for video verification. should i try to do that? I am facing this kind of issue first time so need some help here
Did you buy the Facebook account from someone?

If it is your first suspension, that is usually the best (and only) real chance to recover the account. Make sure the video is clear, good lighting, no VPN/proxy during verification, and do not submit multiple times. If you skip it, the account is almost always lost.

i've read a couple posts that FB does this a lot now, especially if something about your activity, login location, or device suddenly looks off

Whether you "should" do it depends on how much you value the account versus your privacy.
  • The "Yes" Case: If you have years of photos, important contacts, or business pages linked to the account, the video selfie is often the only way to trigger a review. Many users report that their accounts are restored within 24–48 hours after a successful video submission.
  • The "No" Case: Some users are uncomfortable with providing biometric data to a large corporation. If you don't use the account much, you might choose to walk away.

While your account is locked, limit logins, try verifying the video, then wait 1-2 days before checking again. Even if your account is reactivated, be careful with your interactions to avoid permanent deactivation.

Error 282 is often identified by Facebook when there are multiple device login attempts, requiring video verification.

You should complete the verification on the same phone you normally use for your personal Facebook account. This method has a significantly higher success rate

If the appeal is from Facebook’s official system, video verification is a common review step.
Just follow the official process and wait for their response.

It's possible that Facebook has noticed something unusual on your account, or you've created too many accounts on the same device, leading to your account being banned.

You should try video verification. While Facebook still allows appeals, this is your only chance to get your account back. Follow the instructions carefully, record a clear video with good lighting, and do not use filters or edits.
If you skip this step or do it incorrectly, your account is very likely to be permanently banned. Although the success rate is not high, it's still worth trying for your first attempt.

If your account is newly created and there are no violations, you can perform identity verification; this is a real person test.

Facebook has been scanning accounts showing signs of policy violations. You can appeal by recording a video or providing the necessary documents, and Facebook will restore your account if its AI determines that your account did not violate the policy.
