AC ask form w9

hi guys

i have a trouble with my AC account
i already verification by phone ( text )
and i got paid for 1st submit content, AC paid me
after that AC send me mail that they need my w9
they said, my account will active after i send w9

i have print form w9, but how to fill ssn. wheter AC will check the SSN

what do you think

please i need your help, what should i do now ?

W9 is a tax form for US residents. It establishes name, address and Taxpayer number (either SSN or employer identification number for businesses). They don't send the w9 to the IRS, but the IRS will notify them it's bogus info when AC verifies the info.

I'm not aware of any workaround for this nobel, unless you can find someone in the US that's willing to give you the info AC is needing for the W9.

What options you have if are demanded to supply a W9 but want to stay relatively off the grid are 1) submit bogus info, make money until IRS tells AC it's bogus, 2) get a US proxy to supply the data in their name let them deal with the tax issues. Do you have a stateside friend or relative who will do so for 5 or 10% of your earnings, or a flat fee? Can you fly over and find a homeless person who will do so? Or (more dangerously) an ex-con or parolee?

3) Get a US corporation with TIN. Some firms may do this, or people who want something in return ("I'll set your corp up here if you set my off shore corp up over there"). 4) Take the head on route and submit docs explaining your legal objections to the misapplication of the tax code (the tax honesty route).

I assume you mean 5-10% on top of the taxes themselves? Because I don't know anyone stateside who would deal with the hassle of tax liability (30% or more thanks to self-employment taxes) without at least getting that covered.

Setting up a US corp, or domesticating a foreign corp to do business here should be that hard, but might be expensive off the bat.

Hi nobel85, way back in January I got the same situation but it was a result of having multiple accounts with same IPs. Now I'm more smarter than I was so I'm running 3-4 AC accounts(with different paypal accounts) successfully. I'm using US level1 IPs(highly anonymous) So my conclusion is that they may have identified you having multiple accounts. Sorry I'm wrong

I thought w9 is required only when you reach the $600 mark?
