About To Train Few People Regarding IM

Hey,

I am about to teach few people (approx 30 or so) regarding IM.

They don't know shit about IM. Not even what is SEO/Aff marketing.

While teaching (online) I would give them my affiliate link of hosting (not sure which one) and what else I should offer them?

Any ideas?

Would appreciate your replies guys.

P.S Any ideas to teach them something other than SEO and niche/affiliate marketing ?

Advertise on BHW
Affiliate links to every CPA network. Just give them a list in PDF format with your links to all of them so you get backend commission.

If you teach them email affiliate links to email service providers.
 
I would build complete written version of your seminar that you are going to give, then just go through and link all of the service related parts to the relevent affiliate links:-)
(Hosting,backlink services, link check services, software, hosting and so on)

If it's SEO you have tons of SEO service that offers decent affiliate commisions. You can also use affiliate networks that allow 2nd tier etc

Yeah that will be about how to find niche and then ranking on google.

Do you have any other idea what should I teach them other than SEO ?

I'd rather just be the reseller for hostwinds and charge them a fair price for the quality they get offering setup. More money in it that way PLUS, you get your money instantly without shaving.
 
There are tons of things you can market to them in the process of teaching them seo. Keyword research tools with affiliate programs would be the first to come to mind as keyword research is fundamental when choosing a niche.

Some other things might be some CB products about how to write an ebook or how to write articles in 7 minutes (or whatever). Tell them the process of IM or seo but be intentionally vague so you can suggest paid products that will pay you commissions. Just be subtle about it so your ulterior motive isn't obvious.

As mentioned before. giving them your referral link to cpa networks would be a good idea as well.

Yeah, after my first class I will become a reseller and charge money that way.
But the word Free has its own attraction. lol

Market them free seo training for Adwords websites and then offer them a free Adwords voucher ($100) for buying your reseller space. As for freebies why don't you buy them a seo service and traffic, then later hook them into like $750 a month for even better seo service and traffic. You know you can use the BSTS here to create a awesome package to market them right?
 
For the hosting affiliate use CJ's hostgator or bluehost ones, they'll pay 125$ without needed X amount of people to signup.
 
I hope these people you intend on teaching has the passion,ambition, and drive it takes because we all know how much is required to know in order to create a successful living online.

One tip for your students that they can appreciate is outsourcing their links through proven effective feedback gigs on fiverr.
 
When I teach IM to college students I do it as a follow over my shoulder type course using Camtasia videos. Below each video I include links to any resource I use in it. So, it's right there when they need it. I also give them a PDF with all of the resources listed by type (hosting, affiliate networks, etc.).

As for what to teach, I would add social media to the mix as it is becoming an important aspect of SEO. Maybe do this (and other modules) as a paid addon after you already have credibility.

Maybe I can also record a video and send to all the students (the link) and tell them to watch it first and let me know if they have any questions ?

Good idea ? or is it better to have a live training session ?
 
I have also found that hostgator affiliate program shave.

Justhost looks good too... They payout is not very bad... $60 per signup.

I do a bit of both. My course is broken into a number of modules (keyword research, building the site, SEO, etc.). Each module consists of maybe 5-15 videos (I keep them fairly short). At the end of each module there is an assignment (this is a college course, but you should probably give your students assignments also as it will get them to take action). I have a forum where students can ask questions and also hold a number of GotoWebinar sessions. In those sessions I hotseat the students, give them feedback, and answer questions live.
