I honestly think that I am doing something wrong and really need advice/help. I started about 3 weeks ago and have made a review site and have a few reviews of products on it with other content on it. ive had about 1800 visitors and not a single sale. I read on here that someone is just as far as long as me and have made almost 12k already. Even if it is less than 12k he is still making something and I am wondering as to what I am doing wrong because I really need to start making something?

So you expect to make $12K with 1800 visitors in 3 weeks?
If you are selling something expensive people are naturally not going to buy it at that moment unless they really need it.
I think you should change around a little bit of what you are doing and see how it goes.

Never expect to make that I really just want 1 sale to start and I will scale up but some of the products offer trials and or are cheap monthly ones. Should I not go for recurring ones and find some that are for less then $30?

    Some things to consider are:
    Who are your possible customers?
What is the price of the product you are promoting?
How popular is the niche that you are in (competition)?
How good is the sales page?
How much work have you put in?? Let say you have worked for 30 hours on that project and no sales then change what you are doing (traffic source, make your landing page better etc ) and see how it goes. Sooner or later you will see the money coming in if you keep on working.

You may want to look at the website as one of your visitors. Step outside of your perspective and into the perspective of the roses. You have to be able to come to your site and feel like you are going to buy from it. Does that make sense? If you wouldn't buy something from your own site, chances are not many will. Granted you made a review site with affiliate marketing, so you are already a step above the rest but you have to go back, observe and ask yourself. Would I buy this product after seeing this website?

Good luck! Don't forget to look at what your comepetitors are doing. If you find something compelling, take the idea and use it on your own website! Let us know if you make any changes and if they work!

How are you driving traffic? Usually a bad conversion rate is due to bad traffic.

Stevenjones I jumped into ebusiness and marketing seeing how it has so many products to promote and picked a few including the one I am using to write reviews on and all but one or 2 have recurring bills? Bad or good?
LBrown I have just started this and started backlinking (posting link in comment areas related to my site) and have only payed once to get 1st 1500 visitors to site and didn't get any conversions so I didn't buy anymore. Tips?
    Thanks

So of the first 1800, 1500 was from paid traffic? Are you tracking your traffic with something like Google Analytics or statcounter? Figure out which keywords the other 300 visitors came from and try to rank higher for those by building links with those anchor texts. Search engine traffic is the easiest to convert into sales. Paid traffic is notoriously difficult. If it were that easy everyone would do it.

Okay so I worked on a lot all day pretty tired now figured I'd let you all know what i changed.
I added some more to the reviews and added headers to them, added some videos from youtube that are random funny ones or music to occupy them I added more to guestbook area, added more to the about this site, I think I did more also but groggy at the moment anyways I made it look a little better.
