A small query related to Internal linking

3 weeks back, I started a new Amazon affiliate WordPress website. So, I am trying to have a good internal linking architecture of my site. However, I am little confused related to anchor text. Let's say my post A is linking to post B and post A's H2 is H1 of post B. So, is this a proper method? Because I think it may cannibalize the post AorB. And what is the proper way of using anchor text?

Cannibalization is basically a state where 2+ pages are competing for the same set of keywords.
