It's always good to hear about genuine connections like that. Showing gratitude, even in a small way, goes a long way. Perhaps a nice dinner or a small, thoughtful present would be appreciated to acknowledge her kindness over the years.

That was really appreciated. In a world full of betreyal or bad people, there are very few good people who will be your well wishers.

This lady has been helping me for 4 or 5 years, taking me to my Doctor Appointments, and we consider her a family friend.

That’s really kind of you to share. It sounds like she’s been a solid friend to you for years, and it’s rare to find someone who shows up like that. A small thank-you or even a simple message of appreciation would probably mean a lot to her. :)

Your story reminded me of something in my life. Last month I saw my neighbor struggling with groceries up the stairs. Something made me ask if she needed help. She hesitated at first but then accepted. We walked home together and she shared that her husband had passed away from COVID and she’s been feeling really lonely ever since.

Now we sometimes go to the store together. It’s a small thing, but it feels good to know that I can bring a little comfort to her life. Sometimes, just being there for someone is all it takes to make a difference :)

It always does.

When I make soup, I set some aside for her.

Every Christmas, we get her something, and even though it's not expensive (the food platter was around 20.00), it makes her day, and if it makes her day, it makes mine.

She not only drives for me, but she also drives for others as well, as that is how she makes her living.

She's a wonderful lady and deserves to be treated as such.

She sounds like a genuinely good person, and it’s nice how you look out for her. Little things like soup or a small Christmas gift go a long way, especially for someone who spends their days helping others. It’s clear you appreciate her, and that kind of kindness matters more than anything fancy.
