Last Friday I talked with Paul Bryant about one of my websites. The website gets good volume of targeted traffic but sales were quite low. I asked Paul for advice. He looked at my website and told me:
What I did?
This is a wordpress blog, comments are closed. You know wp prints "comments are closed" at the end of each page and post where comments widget is enabled. So just edit comments.php and remove the line that prints "comments are closed" and add your CTA there - it can be text and/or banner link, whatever you like. I added both a banner and text blow it.
I did it last Friday, and by today i see sales increase in 200%. Enjoy
At very end of page you need a nice big clear CTA because the end of the page is a KEY part when someone may decide to click and buy. Lets assume someone has read all of your content on the page..... when they reach the bottom if your copy has done the job you intended they should be ready to click and buy right?
so we need to make it easy for them. At the end of the page just make sure the last CTA is nice and big and bold so people are clear what they should do next.
