A Shopify-eStore-eCommerce Section?

Should we have a separate section for Shopify threads?

Yepp I agree. There's many shopify threads here. It could certainly help.
 
I don't know. Possibly but it still fits under the e-commerce section imo. Not a bad idea though to be honest and would make it easier to separate e-commerce topics. Would this mean there'll be other sub sections like WooCommerce etc too?

You would need to consult with @Diamond Damien as to the actual application and implementation of the section, I am just an ideas guy.
 
It would just open the flood gates to the absolute moronic Shopify gurus. They'd swarm in like the cryptotards did.
 
an ecommerce sub section is a good idea...and that sub section will have many threads related to shopify, woo, and other ecommerce platforms,
or a section with sub section with:
  • Setup
  • Marketing
  • SEO

A eCommerce section in general would be great for topics on woo-commerce, shopify etc.
 
On May 14th, I tried to gather a list of threads for a potential e-Commerce subforum, but I was only able to find 27 non-WTB/HAF/journey/jv threads created in the last 30 days.

Based on the "50 engaged threads in the last 90 days description" DD provided, I'll look into making a new list of e-Commerce threads.

57 e-commerce threads created between April 17 to July 16. This list excludes threads created in the freelancer, JV, and journey sections; along with any threads I felt were already in the correct section (e.g., most of the "Shopify+IG" threads). I ran them through a duplicate line checker to remove any duplicate links as well.

Admittedly, I didn't check to see how engaging those threads were, although the majority of them had responses from what I could tell.

Absolutely must have, Let's give all these guru's run for their money.
Not just Shopify/ drop shipping bubble
but woo /Magento/ strategy/ SEO, SMM and other marketing / sourcing / operation/ private label/
All combined we can make excellent bullet-proof solid e-com section

Since e-com is the buzz, it will bring more benefits to the rest of the members that provide services such as Aff. marketing, SEO, content. etc

Yes we should! I'm starting up my first Shopify store (yes, I know... I'm late to the game), and I think it'd be awesome to have a dedicated eCommerce section to discuss our trials and tribulations with regards to this sort of thing, as opposed to picking random spots throughout the forum. It'd keep things more organized, for sure!
