If I download a fb live and post it on YouTube.

Youtube will count it as reused content or original?

( I mean, that content would be acceptable in ypp)

*I got demonetized for reused content.

If the original owner claims it, you can be in trouble.

this is from the YPP terms of service, i guess you need to watch your steps carefully...

Make sure your content adds value, and is unique and relevant. We’ve included some examples of content that doesn’t meet these standards, which means it can’t be monetized. This list is not exhaustive.

Reused content. This is content that doesn’t provide significant original commentary, or educational value. It may also mean that we’ve identified that large portions of your channel either completely match other content, or are noticeably similar. Examples include:
Third-party videos stitched together with minimal to no changes
Third-party content compiled without a narrative
Content uploaded somewhere else first
Content uploaded many times by multiple users
Repetitious content. This is content that appears mass-produced in order to increase views without adding significant educational or other value. Examples include:
Synthetic voice reads third-party content or nonsensical content
Content on a channel with minimal changes from video to video

Repetitive or mindless content with no additional educational value, commentary, or narrative
Content that’s been mass-produced or generated programmatically
Image slideshows or scrolling text with minimal or no additional narrative, commentary, or educational value
Note: You may be able to monetize third-party content if you have commercial use rights for that content, and you’re contributing to the value of that content in some way. This can include, but is not limited to, high-quality editing, adding commentary, or narrative.

How youtube will know that I have commercial rights of a content?
If I'm the first one to post the content on youtube from the fb ( even before the owner posts it on yt) then it wouldn't be counted as reused content, right? (Owner have no objection)

i don't think that they OK with 'first on YouTube' since they say they don't want "Content uploaded somewhere else first"
how they know? that's YouTube/google you are talking about, anyway they will NOT warn you first, if they check and do a manual review and see that same content is published somewhere on the internet
they can kick your channel from the YPP immediately (no strikes or second chance), so there is a risk you must understand before you start to invest time and money on that project...

Until and unless the owner claims it i dont think there will be any issues from youtube.

Let me know if it goes well i was having this kind if idea in my mind for churn and burn kind of yt channel

I didn't get any claim and posted someone's videos and got monitized but then got demonetized after 3 days.

How I got demonetized?
I appealed for the Monetization of one of my viral videos which got demonetized and then after 2 hours I got the email of reused content and whole channel got demonetized.

But I know a guy who is also posting the videos from the same source and he is monetized.
Idk how he is still monetized.

Exact thing happened to me.

I appealed for a manual review of my demonitized viral video and after 2 hours they kicked me out of ypp. (20k subs)
It's frustrating

By the way, a channel I know with same content and he is monetized.

If I post someone's videos on a monetized youtube channel and don't monetize them and monetize only those which I own.
Still I would be kicked out of ypp?
(I'm asking this because those videos gains me good amount of subs)

*Video owner has no objection

This happens alot tbh, people who have videos go viral and then get demonitized after. There are actually people that will make viral videos knowing the channel will get demonitized, then moving on to another and keeping the adsense payout and repeating

If you have reused content having a viral video just means it gets alot more notice and if the content is reused then itll get taken

Also I ran an nba channel where i literally just took content from hh, ximeo piento etc, and one night I remember coming across a channel that had all stolen content even with watermarks intact, I took those vids and uploaded them all to my channel and got demonitied and strikes with hours

I looked over the channel that was taking the content and realized the only difference between their vids and mine was they added a 30 second intro showing their name as an affiliate for nba gear TO THEIR STOLEN CONTENT

and they were killing it

i really can't tell since the YPP became so strict, they struggle to make sure that ONLY original content creators will benefit their program and they demonetize many channels for "re-use content" violations.
so i don't know if they will ignore un-monetised videos on your channel, but you can always open a new channel for those videos that you don't want to monetise, if those run good, use affiliate links, or links to your main channel
cards to the main channel videos, use it as a traffic source for your "money channel" that is not a TOS violation

I still do not think that I would take the chance and risk it. It is not yours. Make your own.

Won't this risk your Adsense account also? Having a channel demonetized is one thing but having your Adsense closed is not fun at all, that's my main concern if I'd ever try to post non original content. Do you have any tips what not to do in order to keep Adsense safe?

You can buy adsense from resellers so there isnt really too much of a risk there
As far as getting a channel demonitized that really has nothing to do with adsense, if you get a channel deleted from 3 strikes, even then its not going to really effect your adsense account usually. Adsense and monetized channels arent directly related ive had so many channels demonitized, adsense is just the way you make money, your youtube channel is just one way adsense can do that. But adsenses issue is mainly when you have policy violation, if you get say multiple accounts deleted you put it at risk because youtube may see you as a risk, or if you directly violate earning money with the platform, like for example sending panel views to a monetized video. Adsense isnt going to close because you had an issue on your sites end, unless you say, tried to take money against policy there also or violated things to such a degree youre a risk

You know how many people get demonitized on a daily basis? Imagine if adsense closed for every one who did that, google itself only wants you to have one adsense

I was wondering about this myself since I'm experimenting with monetizing reuse content myself.

I'm trying to repost lives from Facebook and Periscope myself and I think since we're the first ones to upload it onto YouTube it will be considered original content unless the owner, of course, finds it and claims it. Also, the same thing with those TikTok compilations you see usually the YouTubers are the first ones to post those clips.

I think unless the content is already on YouTube it's not reused content because it's not like YouTube can scan it if it was never posted on the site before.

It's very rare for the owner to come to YouTube and strike you down although it did actually just happen to me when I reposted a Periscope stream from a Russian girl. She struck me down and got my account terminated since I was already on my second strike. I was an idiot though I had her name tagged in the video had I not done that she wouldn't have found it.

A lot of owners from the other sites don't browse for their videos on YouTube especially those teens on TikTok a lot of the younger people would rather have clout and exposure they don't really care about all of that stuff. It has to be someone who regularly does a clean sweep of every social media platform out there that posts their content. A very small percentage of content makers will do this stuff.

The best advice I can give is to go on ahead and risk it and avoid tagging the person's name in the video. It helps to make it as hard as possible to find you. The thumbnail is the only dead giveaway but even then they really have to get lucky to stumble upon your video.

Hey if you do get a strike from that person just don't upload that person's stuff ever again and move on.

If you have rights to the video then you can post it without getting a copyright strike. Their algorithms can search the internet as well and connect it to the facebook video.
