Well it supports private whois all of the major TLD's, but I think you'll fine you can't private whois on .us domain extensions, I assume the domain was a .us?

...Not entirely true. It depends on the Blackhat Method. Some methods keep the consumer happy (e.g. GODcpa where you redirect users to whatever it is they want after they enter their email), or some can keep everyone happy (e.g. autoblogging, craigslist and recommending them to a relevant offer).

So you're telling me all of MaxBounty's email submits actually send users their 'free ipod' they are promised on the LP? Pfft... the only thing they will be receiving is a shit tonne of spam.

And how about MaxBounty's Acai offers? After users see a flog about some made up person who has lost '10 pounds in a week' so they sign up for Acai and expect to lose 10 pounds? And this is 'whitehat'?! Pfft... all they'll be losing is $100, and receiving some poor quality pills with little Acai content in them anyway.

I agree with you, most of the time Blackhat is worse than Whitehat, but that's not necessarily the case. I see you also mentioned fake/stolen CC's - to me that's not blackhat at all, that's fraudulent leads. I think you need to open your eyes to the various methods of promotion, and stop trying to flame people here. Take a look around on here and you'll see everyone here is only trying to make some money... just like your job as an AM.

Again, without CPA I'd be fucked and jobless, but to me it's getting to the point where nearly all CPA offers are blackhat in some aspects, whereas Rev Share is more commonly home to GOOD products and services.

Why don't you look through MaxBounty's list of CPA Offers, and find ones that actually offer a great service and would be worth signing up to?... I bet there's not many, am I right?

And Steve, why don't you enlighten us BH'ers to the best Whitehat way to promote your offers? Fake Blogs? Fake Articles? Fake Reviews? Deceptive Landing Pages? What's the best Whitehat method of promotion you recommend?!

Thank you for your post Cupid. I'm glad that it is possible to have this kind of discussion intelligently and reasonably with you.

I agree with a lot of what you say. Yeah, some offers are shadier than others. But in all cases, the person signing up has the opportunity to know exactly what they are getting into if they take the time to read the small print. Yeah, there's a lot of small print, and things aren't always as easy as they seem, but the surfer has the opportunity to figure all this out before they commit any of their personal info to the signup process.

But I think the shadiness of an offer is a separate issue from BH vs WH. Using an off-line example to make my point: if you were at a pharmacy in the health section and you saw a bottle of Acai pills, it wouldn't be right to shoplift them just because you don't believe they do anything.

In other threads, I've explained my position on BH leads. I know there's a whole range of blackness of BH leads. I know that there are many methods that allow a surfer to get to a merchant's landing page fully aware of where they are, what they are doing and what they are getting. But at the other end of the spectrum there are a whole lot of horrible methods that do nothing but steal commissions from merchants by delivering garbage leads.

I mention stolen credit cards. While many reasonable people (including me) don't consider that BH, in reality, there are those that do. Some people think SSM is just fine as a BH method but merchants are getting screwed with dead leads and surfers are having their privacy violated.

I'm here to give the other side's view on the topic of BH leads. I hope to explain the negative aspects of some types of blackhatting. Specifically, those that are blatantly fraudulent and do nothing but harm this industry. I hope that my words might convince some people away from the pure fraud. If I can get someone to abandon SSM and consider BHCB, then I'm happy.

I have just as much a right to post here with my opinion as anyone else. This is a public forum after all, and I specifically discussed my presence here with an administrator before I went public.

Finally, please note that I do not flame. While I may have post things that make people unhappy, I never attack anyone personally. Not everyone will like my opinions, but I do not believe they cross the line from an opposite view to a flat-out flame.

So this means if someone used GodCPA to iframe an offer (let's say a one fielder) and put some small prints on the same page saying "This is not the real landing page" this would be ok? You and I honestly know that the majority of the people don't even read those small written notes at the bottom of the page and are just on the page to sign up with their details.

I have not been promoting Maxbounty yet just because of the fact that I don't want to start with something before I know this will roll in the big $$$.

I'm not flaming you personally but you should definitely write up some methods (whitehat ones would be best suited for you I think ) for the people at this forum. It's a win-win situation because more people will probably use such a method, the merchant will get quality leads and you won't get shit from the merchants and MB will become even more populair.
