Your RDP is probably timing out - change the timeout settings in the client and see if you're still having the issue?

The problem is the changing of the IP address :(

you can use proxifier+ socks or proxy. On rdp it's normal to drop connection because you change the ip that you connected to, but on team viewer it's not normal. I have rdsl rented and i change the ip every 2-3 minutes and works fine with team viewer. Contact them at customer support and ask them.

So you're going onto the VPS right, and then the VPS is starting the VPN connection? I've done this quite a bit from those shitty Windows 2k3 boxes without much issue.

Are you getting any error messages or anything, that is telling you the problem is "the changing of the IP address"?

^ Try looking at some of those answers, it may solve your problem.

You have to use an open vpn connection not pptp

It would be best if you install your vpn with active directory

Why don't you just use the one built in windows it's free too. It also uses the PPTP. Of course you will have to use the windows server operating system.

You can't connect to VPS after connecting to VPN, because IP change on VPS, you can fix this easily, you can connect to VPS when any time IP changed, its Dynamic DNS, or put small script on your server to notify you with new IP, i recommend Dynamic DNS, if you need help, i can explain this with step by step,

If you use the one on windows it's a building application that's free. If you have full administrator rights of your vps you can do it

It's all about split tunneling. you want to split it so the traffic from your computer -> host ISNT tunneled, but everything else from the Host -> Out is tunneled.
