Hey everyone,
Last week I was approached by a client of mine who found out that I have been struggling after a major loss. Well, he offered me the opportunity to replicate his membership site. His site makes consistently $5,000 a month recurring. It's a great opportunity. He showed me all proof, etc.

Okay, I know y'all are wondering"And Graham's problem is...?"

The guy want's $2,500 as a good faith that I am serious about doing this project. I am completely okay with that, I mean I'll make the money back 10 fold & life will be awesome until the next project. My problem is, I don't have it. I really want to do this. Anyone have suggestions, thoughts, ideas? In my previous thread, I have talked about just sitting back and knowing the proper opportunity will arise. It's like it has presented itself.

Has anyone dealt with membership sites? I am so excited that I really want to do this. He seems solid and real.

Thoughts?
Graham

In general, Mr. Crackers, what kind of membership site and what kind of monetization.

Be very general.

No dude, he is the member of another forum. He may be a member but I don't know what his name would be.

A paying membership site (a monthly recurring fee) & people swarm to learning more about the niche, how they can get above the competition.

Is he a nigerian prince?

Are you saying he wants $2500 off you to make $5000 a month?

I know, I see that it has potential. I am just warped. I don't have the money & I want to have the money so I told him to give me a few days so that I can figure a way to come up with it, yet here I am. Pondering, how many articles I need to write. In a year, or even less. I can sell the site and REALLY bank out. Start again, and rinse/repeat.

When you say you had a major loss, what happened? I am thinking that maybe you got scammed?

Sounds fishy to me, I would go about business and try to earn with your own method.

Plus you dont have the money for the method soooo yeah

$5.000 month and he want only $2.500 ? Sounds really fishy bro be careful..

This whole thread seems a little fishy to me.

He is your client?... But he wants to teach you to replicate his site. $2500 in good faith money?

Somebody is fishing for something... Thats for damn sure!

I wouldn't say scammed, we ran a long successful business on a forum, the forum shut down unexpectedly, I had placed all my eggs in that basket. It died, and I now am moving on. Happens, right?

I truly believe that if this is meant for me then a way will pave itself, I am just looking to see if this is the road I should focus on at this moment. I want to focus on my own methods. Believe me I do, but money takes money to make money. I just don't know. I brought it here because I was hoping to see if anyone else has opportunities present itself and what they did.

Well if you know the guy that changes things a bit I guess. But now your left with the no money problem.

I dont know if your hoping someone here will drop you 2.5k or what but it most likely wont happen.

Unless you can get a bank loan or something your better off finding a keyword, making a website, and ranking it.

If this guy really is legit then I'm sure he'd be open to a revenue share deal instead of the $2.5k upfront.
From his perspective, why not setup a deal where he gets 25% recurring revenue? If this has the income potential that's being claimed then there is the opportunity for him to make far more than $2.5K over the course of the year and beyond.

This is the angle I would take if I was in your shoes. If he doesn't like this idea then he is most likely selling you BS and you should move on.

Just my .02 cents

Good Luck

This seems like a fishing thread to me, just waiting for the right retard with $2,500 spare, and then sold a shit worthless site. Just a warning, be careful retards, stay safe and keep your money.

I can get a bank loan. No, I am not looking for anyone to "drop" money on me. I can make my own way. I mainly was asking because both of my senses are talking. One is saying, DO IT.. The other one is like WAIT, get some feedback. When that happens, I tend to stop & seek advice/help. Then proceed from there.

How would cloning his site help you
You definitely wont get any traffic from the search engines, so its only social media left. or paid advertising

Okay, well he says that he wants the upfront payment because he doesn't want to give the opportunity to anyone, and it's a good faith that shows that I'll be serious about the business.

Oh look no surprisingly the offer is open to others, can see where this one is going. He will be willing to go half half with someone next.

So you are telling me, that he has had a major loss and now wants to sell you the concept behind his recurring $5000 p/month business for $2500?

That sounds awfully similar to the email I got from a lady who's husband died last week and decided to give me half of the $5million inheritance.

I gave her my bank info but I am still waiting for the millions.

Darn it!
