He posts threads in 'Hire A Freelancer' section every now and then. All thread include two conditions, also noting he is paying way low for work involved -
1. No upfront. Will only pay after the work is complete (100% not even a partial payment or instalments)
2. He got to like the work done by you, if he doesn't like it, you don't get paid.
His these conditions are always questioned by members of forum as absurd, since no developer works without upfront. Yet, he is back with same type of threads and same conditions.
Why this a possible scam?
1. Well someone might work and do all the work of developing and designing a website and all he could say is - "I didn't like it, so no payment". And the freelancers on BHW are likely to fall for it.
2. He or any other member responds back on whether work was complete or not.
Why I am so sure?
I tested him when he needed a developer. (Of course I got the job done from a trainee, not going to waste a professional's time, and the work was not up to the mark and I was aware of it). I asked him what was lacking and all he got to say each time was - "Look at the reference website, and ask the developer to find himself what he has missed" (What is this some puzzle game going on?)
Long story short, removed from Skype Contact, and stops responding. (Got scammed. I don't mind since the coder was trainee and I was checking his potentials)
Why thread in lounge section?
Not going to shitlist him. But I want to warn other members who still respond to his threads although all his past threads were bashed down by senior members. It is utmost thing that you check past posts/threads of members with whom you are going to trade/work with.
