Hello BHW!
My name's Eddien and I just signed up to this forum. I was a reader of BHW for around a month or so, and today I decided to be part of it.
A month ago, I started a blog, nothing too fancy, nothing too crazy. Being of a totally different field from that of the IT, made everything more difficult for me. None of the people around me have a blog, so I didn't have the opportunity to learn from someone.
I decided to do what I am really good at; research! You don't need any mentor for that, you don't need to pay for information, you just need a phone (computer) and an internet connection.
During these days, I learned so many things, 99% of them totally new to me. I learned how to set up a blog, how to use Wordpress, and I learned about something called "SEO".
Many of the posts that I read, came form BHW, and that's how I stumbled upon this forum. I admit that I don't understand everything I read here and sometimes I keep reading and reading until I feel like I got myself into a dark and deep blackhole, but I always try to get the essence of it and I take notes of everything I don't understand.
I finally decided to join this forum, because I have so many unanswered questions that I need to address by myself and also, I will try to give my help to everyone who is just starting, just like me. I am not a native English speaker but my English is acceptable so I don't think I will face any problems regarding this.
