Hello,

I'm surprised nobody has already opened a thread about it, people are talking about it all around the internet.

there you go : http://www.seroundtable.com/google-update-starting-16885.html

As for me saw some positive movements for some sites, and some other ones are just sticking where they were.

But I don't trust this positive movement because the penguin acts like a tsunami, good ranking improvement then the big slap 2 days later.

Google announced that Panda was part of the main algorithm which means it runs continiously, might mean that this is not a Panda refresh ? Or is it ?

Anyway Hope your websites are doing well.

Might just be a data refresh, google dance, or some change in SEO on your side that's still settling in.

I can confirm that something happen. 20 sites that dropped heavy now back at page 1 , page 2

My Sites which did well after Penguin 2.0, Took a Hit today. Dropped 134 Places Overall, and it is still going down :(

crappy facebook pages are ranking above my quality well seod site. go0gle you are messing up big time.

I think this is the real penguin 2.0 hitting, the one earlier was a test run.

Yes google is updating so watng for results to take a effective way and also wish all members to get higher ranking.

No big changes here, just the usual slow movement upwards in the serps.

Maybe google is just doing a bit of shuffling to confuse the people analyzing penguin 2.0. The extrapolated data was scheduled to come out a few days from today I think.

My keywords are jumping up and down every 2-5 minutes.

Love this "after Penguin, my sites...." sort of conversation

Penguin is an iterative process that - in 2012 - took the best part of 6 weeks to settle.
People have this idea Penguin ran - then 30 seconds later the sites were re-ordered.
That is so far from how it works.
It runs as an iterative sort - a complex one with likely all sorts of balancing factors and weightings and such like - but it takes flipping ages to settle.
Can't talk about "after Penguin" at all yet because chances are "Penguin" is probably only 1/2 way through.

SEO's already providing solutions to the Penguin 2 slap are a joke. For the same reason.

Scritty
