Heres a little trick ive been using on facebook to get likes and free traffic on my facebook page, which is an iphone 4s page simply make sure your using your facebook as fanpage instead off yours own profile now look for fan pages where there are lots of comments on lets say movie fanpage, so there is one section were there is 1000 comments about movies all you simply do it comment on that part and the people who have commented on that section will receaved a notifcation saying you have commented on this movie,
but the best part is when you comment your leaving your fanpage picture and name for everyone to see so free advertising for so every time i comment on a page were thousands of people have comments they are going to see my name win an iphone hope this hasnt been shared here yet thanks

facebook doesn't send out notifications when there are so much comments, you're saying that if I'm the first one to comment I will receive notification about 1000 follow-up comments?
 
well maybe so but it still seems to be working for me and your still leaving ur information on that page for other people to see
 
oh well im sure someone will find it useful as its been for me, guys have a great Christmas and a happy new year anyway
 
not working.. i tried with two accounts on a page to comment but none of them received any notification :)
 
There is slight risk of being banned by FB in this method. Hope it will not happen if its not traced out.
 
I think that FB disabled this for a large amount of comments. In the beginning of the year I tried to post on comments with minimum 20-30K comments - none of them received a notification. For smaller comments may be it is working, but FB disable it for big ones.
 
You get the ban hammer with this stunt...

You need to change your comments around otherwise fb auto deletes you for wall spamming. (it sees the same message being posted around).

I watch my walls like a hawk, and I ban and report, any page that comes near any of my fan pages, I don't care if they have something good to say or not, I just ban them off the page... ewhores are the biggest pain in the arse.

The OP's method does work, but your doing it all wrong, use fake fb accounts to post your page around, your actually doing it the noobs way and risk losing your facebook fan page because your spamming WITH the page... use fake accounts to do the spamming, and give them 48hours and let them be disabled instead.. merry xmas to you :)
 
well theres seems to be ups and downs with this method but when im leaving a comment on a page im not talking about my page my name will show as that page ill just comment on that subject in hand havent been banned yet

This is just the general way you promote a page on facebook without buying ads.

If you want actual traffic, do exactly what I said and then come back and hit that green rep button beside my username...

When somebody else is promoting your page, your page will appear as a thumbnail image and the likes roll in.

If you have the funds, buy a mass facebook wall poster (they're stupid prices right now) and do the same, but on a massive scale.

If your not getting banned already, then your being too careful, seriously take my advice if you want to do this big, if your happy with 200-2000 likes in a day good for you, but if you want 30,000 in a day easily, then do it the way I explained...

I dont get it....so you ban people from YOUR page for using the same techniques that you yourself use???....or did I read that wrong

YES I BAN PEOPLE WHO DO WHAT I DO....

My pages are worth alot to me, so I don't want ANY marketers of any kind on any of my pages, it makes a page look cheap and un-moderated.

When I spam them for traffic, I'm just waiting for a ban back, it's only right, and it's how the game is played on proper facebook fan pages. I'm not talking about bullshit joke pages nobody could care less about, I'm on about proper pages with solid content.
 
Sorry to have to burst your bubble. But this is simply not true. Facebook wont send out 1000 notifications to people just because some random person/page commented on the same link.

This used to happen, maybe about 6 months ago. Now they only send a mass notification if the page that posted the original link add an additional comment to the link.

Yes! Yes! I want to get banned as well :) You know, right now, even if I wanted to get banned, I probably wouldn't know how! lol.

Great advice dog tag. Can I please rehash what you said for my understanding?

... so create status updates and embed your own fan page on fan pages that are getting lots of traffic. Do this over and over until your account gets banned, then repeat?
