I'm not a believer of the protein window. I've heard everything from needing to drink a shake immediately after working out to it being ok to eat up to three hours later with no loss of absorption, build or recovery.
I'm very interested to know once and for all, in a fitness and general sense, whether tea or coffee is better for you.
Caffeine does not cause depression. It's been found to help with depression, but it can lead to panic|anxiety, which unlike depression is an overabundance of energy with no outlet whereas depression is more of a survival mechanism where the body reduces effectiveness of stimuli so the available energy does not cause panic|anxiety when there is no outlet. Being depressed and having anxiety are not always mutually inclusive and can counterbalance one another, but when depression leads to anxiety and back again, things can get understandably difficult, especially when chemicals are introduced to the body undergoing this unbalance.
Believe me, I'm coffee addict for 3 years.
In 3 years I got tons of panic attack, depression and anxiety till I need to take XANAX almost everyday, to relieve the problem.
But after I stop drinking coffee for 2 months, just one snap, all my problem are gone. But I still drinking coffee some day, but not regularly.
And this year, I got new addiction. Called "LOTUS LEAF TEA", I mistaken buy it when I visit Vietnam. I want buy green tea, but end up buying this lotus leaf tea. It need to be prepare with hot water + the tea itself without sugar.
The taste kinda bitter. But the advantages are..
- Make you super chill, reduce anxiety, reduce stress (more like spiritual feeling)
